BIT2114 is a universal PLC with direct internet/intranet connectivity. It is a very flexible workhorse which can be used for just about any application because of its multitude of ports and interfaces.

Equipped with 16 input ports, 8 digital output ports, 8 analog input ports, 2 RJ12 connectors and a Bitlink 2-wire bus interface gate the PLC can work within both 2-wire bus (RS232) and WebIO (RS485) based systems.

Using the 2-wire bus interface it is possible to connect up to 256 data points to a BIT2114 PLC and simultaneously use components from the WebIO system. WebIO has a number of advantages including the capability of using USB ports for e.g. data logging.

 
   
 
   

Applications

Because of its flexibility and advanced capabilities BIT2114 is the obvious hub for most applications where Bitlink components are used.

With built-in support for ethernet the PLC is able to alarm personnel via SMS or email. BIT2114 is also able to connect and interact with other BIT2114 PLC´s and communicate with Bitlink Control Center (BCC) thus taking advantage of the many functions of this system in relation to the handling of alarms, reports and events. Programming

The BIT2114 PLC is programmed by using free Windows-based software utilizing ladder diagram programming. Because BIT2114 is web-based, the programmer can program and monitor the PLC from any location in the world via the internet!
